Tasty fish and chips at reasonable prices especially the kids portions. Not too greasy. Not usually a fan of restaurants that use the term “ No 1” but deserves a good rating. Popular,opposite the pier,which I think helps with freshly cooked food.

Great food, freshly cooked, clean kitchen and really friendly friendly staff. Food being cooked fresh to order. Chips were crispy, fluffy and not greasy. Peas were nicely seasoned and fresh. Good prices too. Staff really friendly. Definitely recommend.

One of the best fish and chips i have had in UK. Beautiful, tasty and fresh. Great customer service. The lad on the till today was amazing. Very friendly and a credit to the shop. I don't eat meat so asked about the cooking procedure and he was very helpful. Fish and chips are cooked in separate oil to meat products. Other shops in the vicinity cook in the same oil and were a bit miserable when I enquired about this. To surmise, the food is top notch and very fresh. Had fish chips and curry sauce. 10 out of 10. 5star service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Modern chip shop with really fast service. Open plan kitchen so you can see while they are cooking. The staff were super friendly and thanked us on the way out. There is no downstairs seating, so if you have a buggy or wheelchair, it may not be suitable. Plenty of seating and someone actively clearing tables and floors. The batter on the cod was crispy and the chips were great too. There is a toilet upstairs where the seating is.

I highly recommend No1Fish&Chips because the staff are incredibly friendly and the food is fantastic! They've got a brilliant upstairs seating area with sea views and it is a generally nice place to eat. The menu is good value for money and the portion sizes are generous too - and that's coming from a Midlander! 😄🫶🏼
